Making your message as useful as possible
A few details make a correction or suggestion much easier to act on. Corrections about Managua tend to fall into a handful of familiar categories. Knowing what to include saves a round of back-and-forth and means the change can reach the page sooner.
What helps most
- The page and the section. Copy the page title or paste the address from your browser, and say which paragraph you mean. Several topics, such as getting around and day trips, sit close together in the guide, so a precise pointer matters.
- When you noticed it. Opening patterns, road layouts and access rules around places like the lagoons and volcano parks can change. A rough month and year tells us how current your observation is.
- How you know. First-hand experience, a notice posted on site or an official announcement are all useful. Say which it is, so we can weigh the detail properly before changing anything.
- What you expected to find. If a page left you without an answer you needed, describe the question. Gaps are often more valuable to hear about than errors.
What we usually cannot use
We keep the guide general and independent. We do not publish prices, personal recommendations for specific businesses in exchange for anything, or unverified claims about named people. Promotional messages from hotels, tour operators or agencies will not lead to a listing. Neither will requests to add links, because the guide is not affiliated with any property or service.
Photos and credits
If you believe one of the images on the site is yours and is credited incorrectly, please mention the page it appears on. It also helps to say how you would like to be credited. Current attributions are listed on the photo credits page.
